There are many different ways in which you could bet while playing roulette and this article will attempt to explain several of these to you in a way that is easy to understand. I would like to begin with an explanation of how to play with straight up betting.

Still yet you have the three numbers bet, where you will place a single wager upon any one of the three different numbers. You would place this wager upon the outer border of the selected three numbers which you desire to bet on. These winning bets are paid at the 11 to 1 odds. This bet indicates that you want to bet on the three numbers which are going across the roulette layout.
You may also play four numbers as well. This bet would be placed in the center point of four numbers. It is where all four lines intersect. The odds are usually paid at 6 to 1.
